Of Oriental Pomerania in the search for images and memories of an old, long time forgotten home, the Northern Ural. His paintings deal with return. Occasionally single people are seen, mostly from the back. They invite the beholder to step into the painting and to follow them. It is a continuous search for images and motives, which are fed through his memory but which are rooted in the here and now of our present.
