As Adrienne Goehler with her exhibition Examples to follow! moved around the world, she recorded works by local artists on site and, wherever she was, entered into a dialogue with people about the themes of the show. But this requires the opening up of artistic institutions, which are otherwise in danger of only ever perpetuating the canon of well-known, important artists.”
