X-Blind Spot is a four-year coalmining survey examining the underground world of exploitation, labor conditions and the physical repercussions suffered by the coalmining community in China today. In particular, the four-channel video installation ‘X-Blind Spot’ captures the artist’s intervention, concern and documentation of the multiple streams of awareness within these complex social realities of temporal communities that carry on China’s industrial legacy today.
Biography
Yang Shaobin born in 1963 in Tangshan, Heibei Province, China lives and works in Beijing.
