Every year, more than 400 million tons of plastic are produced worldwide – a total of unimaginable 8.3 billion tons of plastics have been produced so far. Each of us creates a global average of around 0.74kg of waste per day (see sources: aktivaktiv.de \/ wwf.de). According to the latest studies, plastic has not only been detected in living beings in the deepest sea, but also in the human bloodstream.<\/p>\n The exhibition visualizes the large amounts of plastic that we use every day and that are often left behind as waste in the environment. Contrary to what we know about its environmental impact, global production continues to increase every year. An art exhibition that illuminates this topic from a completely different perspective should change the personal perspective of the viewer and make people more sensitive to personal contact.
